Pseudofinite structures
Smolík, Martin ; Krajíček, Jan (advisor) ; Šaroch, Jan (referee)
The present thesis is intended for students of logic that are interested in finite model theory. The thesis reports on a construction of structures that are limits of classes of finitely generated structures- the so- called pseudo-finite structures. We will explore namely Fraïssé's amalgamation method. This method has seen use in combinatorics and finite model theory and its generalisation, Hrushovski's method, has been used in geometric model theory. The first part of this thesis is theoretical. Key terms and definitions can be found there alongside formulations and proofs of theorems that describe Fraïssé's method and infer results from it. The second part gives several examples of how this method is used. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Communication Model of Local Nonprofit Project
Těhlová, Milada ; Hucková, Barbara (advisor) ; Hanzlík, Jan (referee)
Bachelor's thesis "Communication Model of Local Nonprofit Project Festival One World Benešov 2011" is focused on theory of communication model that involves analysis, targets, target groups, strategy, tactics and evaluation and consequent application of theoretical model on local nonprofit festival type project. In the theoretical part, the formation of communication model is depicted. The part concerned with corporate social responsibility and fundraising is detached and scrutinized more closely. One of the chapters is also devoted to sponsoring. Furthermore, the thesis describes the human rights documentary film festival One World, its specifics and the manner of functioning in the relationship towards the regional festivals, which take place within the frame of One World. Regional festival One World Benešov 2011 is inspected in more detail. The practical part concerns itself with employing the theoretical model on the regional festival One World Benešov 2011. The issues discussed involve assessment of practical application of communication model and overview of advices and recommendations for festival year 2012.
Modeling development of incurred value of claim
Kantorová, Petra ; Zimmermann, Pavel (advisor) ; Hrevuš, Jan (referee)
This diploma project is focused on the estimation of incurred value of claim and probability of the claim remaining opened (not settled) in the specific stage of the insurance settlement process. The change of incurred value of claim means the change of settlement process stage. Generalized linear model is used for modelling these changes. Classical linear regression model also belongs into this theory, which is its special case, just with stricter premises. Generalized linear model among others allows solving the problem of heteroscedasticity in the unusual way using joint model. This model is applied in the practical part of this piece of work. Logistic regression is the part of the generalized linear model theory, which helps to model the probability of the claim remaining opened in this piece of work. The model outcome is presented in graphic way, especially the graphs containing probability that levels of given claim will occur in certain range.
Political Cycle in the European Union Countries
Koman, Martin ; Musil, Martin (advisor) ; Luštický, Martin (referee)
The aim of my thesis "Politic cycle in the European Union countries" is to analyse the possibility of existence of a politic cycle in chosen countries of the EU. The firs half of my thesis is introducing the issue of the public choise theory and different views at this theory together with models of politic cycle. The other part I am dealing with is political and economic backrounds of chosen countried in closer detail and after data analysis of politic-economic development I would like to try to point out possible existence of political cycle. I will use model of politic cycle based on budget policy above all in the analysis.
Dynamický model pro řízení stability kráčejícího robotu
Grepl, Robert
This paper deals with the building and utilization of numerical dynamic modelof stability. The design of model and its solution is accomplished inMatlab/Simulink/SimMechanics environment. The model is designed for particularquadruped walking robot. The structure of the model is described in the text. Two examples of model application are shown at the end of the paper. Model can be used directlyin SimMechanics for various analysis on PC or can be employed as a generator oftraining data for approximator.
The impact of tourism on the landscape in its micro- and macro scale and the evaluation of its stability. Model area: the right and the left shore of Lipno Reservoir
Šrubař, Vladan
The former boarder zone in the area of Lipno Reservoir right shore that existed till 1989 and was aborted in 1990 provides a good occasion to define impacts of tourism on the landscape. This impact defining can be based on the comparison of boht of the shores. The right one as an area where the entrance was forbidden for 40 years was strongly protected.
Retail loan repayment analysis using generalized linear models
Šolc, Michal ; Jarošová, Eva (advisor) ; Forbelská, Marie (referee)
This Diploma thesis concern with generalized linear models and their application in bank practice. Especially to analyze retail loan repayment. First of all we see into theoretical viewpoint of generalized linear models. We shortly try to summarize problems of clasical linear model restrictions and after that we apply to theory on which generalized models are based. We introduce an overview of generalized linear models and after that we concern models, where dependent variable have multinomial and gamma distribution in detail. Main part this thesis is dedicated to data analysis about bank retail loans repayments. In this analysis we use those early mentioned models. We try to create good statistical models on which base the risk ratio of current bank clients could be predicted. The risk ratio is measured by two main indicators, which are: "overdue time" and "overdue amount". For analysis is used statistical software SAS.
